Kakalkaldingan / Bago Resort
About 20 mins from main road (via Candon City) or about 30 mins (via Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur). This is the very first man-made pool with natural spring water in the
Province of Ilocos Sur. It has two pools (for kids & adults) and is
chlorine-free. The natural spring water is coming from the falls of
Mount Madarang. The water is flowing so it's really clean. There
are cottages and tables for people who are visiting. You can also cook
your own food or bring your own, it can work either way. Feel free to
bring your own drinks too if you want and the entrance fee is
wallet-friendly, Php 30-40 per head or sometimes free! The cottage and
table's rent range is Php 50-150.00 only. The Grand Buaya River
is also a few steps down the resort so if you feel like it, feel free to
go. And the Bago Falls of Mount Madarang is an hour hike from the
resort if you're feeling adventurous! The mountains of Madarang,
Baybayading and Kinmarin are very nice spots for hikers and has been
visited frequently by trekkers and mountaineers since it is the gateway
leading to the historical sites of Tirad Pass! The man-made
woods surrounding the pools adds sophistacation to the ambiance and
it'll give you the feeling of trying something new.
hi how much is the cost of the fare? from via candon or sta lucia? thank you
ReplyDeletetried the sta lucia salcedo road from brgy barangobong it is very hard to go there almost 18 kilometer before we reach there.the road is so narrow almost a one way road in the mountain and prone to land slide parang buwis buhay not recommended for family but for barkadas maybe okay.. in return i tried the candon salcedo road it almost the same i reach 20 kilometer before i hit the main highway... my suggestion?? if your wiling to spend almost 40 kilometer of your vehicle back and fro then go just take precaution on landslide prone mountain on side and ravine on the other side not to mention it is very narrow road and no police on site....
